　　由海南省委统战部牵头，海南海外联谊会和海南省侨联主办的第十六届世界海南乡团联谊大会，将于2019年11月27日至29日在三亚举行。31日下午在海口召开的新闻发布上，海南海外联谊会专职副会长、第十六届世界海南乡团联谊大会筹委会办公室副主任王美珍介绍大会筹备情况。届时将有来自世界20多个国家和地区近3000名海南乡亲代表欢聚三亚，共谋发展。

　　王美珍说，借助联谊大会这个国际性的平台，助力海南自贸区(港)建设，大会将举办自贸区(港)推介活动、综合招商活动以及各项对外宣传，讲好中国故事，传播海南声音。期间将对海口江东新区、三亚崖州湾科技城、博鳌乐城国际医疗旅游先行区、洋浦经济开发区等园区、海南生态软件园等5个园区开展招商推介。

　　活动还将发动各乡团为海南自贸区(港)出谋献策，开展“我为家乡建设献策活动倡议”，广泛动员海外广大社团围绕海南自贸区(港)建设的国际化、法治化、便利化方面特别是有关政策、营商环境、经济社会发展、公益事业、美丽乡村建设等方面献计献策。

　　海南省委统战部宣传网络处处长宋星河表示，海南是中国著名侨乡，有390多万海外乡亲(含港澳同胞)分布在50多个国家和地区。据不完全统计，当前海南全省共有侨企1500多家，实际使用资金200多亿元。海外乡亲(含港澳同胞)为海南的文化教育、医疗卫生、农村道路桥梁、文明生态村建设，以及灾后重建等，捐款累计超过10亿元人民币。

Overseas villagers (including Hong Kong and Macao compatriots) have contributed more than 1 billion yuan to Hainan's cultural education, medical and health care, rural roads and bridges, construction of civilized and ecological villages, and post disaster reconstruction。
